Restriction of Hazards Substances certification is designed to reduce/restrict the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). The six such substances used in EEE are: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium (Cr-VI), Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB), and Polybrominated Biphenyl ether (PBDE).
