Work to Be Accomplished

Client is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst II to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role will support the implementation and optimization of SailPoint and Ping platforms, which are critical to our enterprise security and access control strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis within IT environments, particularly in IAM, and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Worker Responsibilities and Skills Must Include:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for IAM solutions.
• Support the implementation of SailPoint Identity Governance and Ping Access Management platforms.
• Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases to support IAM initiatives.
• Facilitate meetings between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and progress.
• Assist in the development of training materials, user guides, and change management communications.
• Analyze access data and generate reports to support compliance, audit readiness, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within IAM operations.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.

Minimum Years of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in IT or cybersecurity environments.
• 7 years of experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Ping, Okta, or similar tools.
• 7 years of strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, role-based access control, and compliance requirements.
• 7 years of proficiency in process modeling tools and techniques.
• 7 years skilled in creating and presenting executive-level project communications.
• 7 years skilled in gathering requirements from business divisions.
• 7 years skilled in educating business unit staff on standardized processes.
• 7 years of strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with peers and different levels of users including executive staff.
• 7 years skilled in facilitating group meetings with internal and external resources.
• 7 years skilled in collaborating with technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents needed in support of the solution.
• 7 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience with one or more State of Texas government agencies.
• 4 years of familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or other security frameworks.
• 4 years of certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or IAM-related certifications.
