Job Title: Investment Associate

Location: New York, NY

Role Overview

This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing minority equity investments in private market sponsor firms. The Associate will support strategic initiatives, capital formation, and long-term growth efforts across a portfolio of mid-market investment managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and valuation of sponsor firms
• Lead and support due diligence processes, including market and operational assessments
• Assist in deal structuring, documentation, and coordination with external advisors
• Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
• Support fundraising and co-investment structuring efforts
• Prepare investment memos and present findings to senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or asset management
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Familiarity with private market sponsors and fund structures
• Experience working with mid-market firms ($1-10B AUM) preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strategic mindset and interest in long-term value creation

Desired Skills and Experience

PE or IB experience, strong modeling, strategic thinking, GP stakes knowledge, mid-market sponsor analysis, capital formation, and relationship-building with private market managers.
