Overview

Next Breath Psychology is a growing practice located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We are looking for a motivated Program Director to join our team. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on building efficient systems, supporting clinicians, and ensuring high-quality care for our clients. The Program Director will play a key part in shaping the future of our practice by overseeing operations, guiding staff, and strengthening our programs. We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a passion for making a meaningful impact in mental health.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that meet organizational goals and patient needs. Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily operations and program logistics. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and support efficient billing and reimbursement practices.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff. Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and opportunities for professional development.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, maintain patient safety protocols, and ensure adherence to state, federal, and payer requirements.
  • Support care coordination, ensure patient-centered services, and foster partnerships with community organizations.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical teams, administrative staff, and leadership. Represent the program in meetings, presentations, and community outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, social work, psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or program management
  • Proven leadership ability across multiple operational areas in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical office operations, clinical workflows, and patient services
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in EHR systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
