Release Manager

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the entertainment industry, is seeking a Release Manager to support high-visibility streaming platforms. The Release Manager will play a critical role in coordinating, planning, and communicating software releases across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain release schedules, processes, and documentation in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate and monitor software releases across multiple platforms, identifying risks and dependencies early.
• Communicate release progress, updates, and escalation notices to stakeholders and leadership.
• Standardize and enhance release management practices, including communication structures, templates, and reporting.
• Support cross-platform integration initiatives and help transition from platform-specific releases to program-wide delivery.
• Lead training and knowledge-sharing sessions to align teams on best practices.
• Track and analyze release health metrics to drive process improvements and efficiency.
• Partner with product, engineering, and program management teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of release management experience, or in a related capacity (QA Manager, Release Engineer, Delivery Manager, or Project/Program Manager).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and enforce processes.
• Exceptional organization, detail-orientation, and prioritization skills.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Ability to pivot quickly in response to shifting business priorities.
• Strong situational awareness, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
