We're seeking a results-oriented bilingual Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Sales Generation : Actively promote and sell our wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables to both retail and wholesale customers by executing on sales strategies.
  • Identify new customers through market research, networking, and attending industry events
  • Negotiate prices and terms with customers, considering factors such as order volume, market conditions, and existing contracts.
  • Prepare and present quotes to potential customers, outlining pricing and product specifications.
  • Contribute to sales reports and data analysis to track sales performance and identify any sales trends.
• Customer Engagement :  Interact with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, assisting them in making informed choices about our produce offerings.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Have the ability to answer customer questions confidently and accurately about various aspects of the products, such as taste profiles, cooking methods, and pairing suggestions
  • Collect customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Order Processing : Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery.
  • Accurately enter customer order details into the company's order management system, including product names, quantities, prices, delivery addresses, and any special instructions.
  • Maintain clear and organized records of all orders for future reference and tracking purposes
• Product Knowledge : Possess a deep understanding of various fruits and vegetables, including their characteristics, seasonality, nutritional value, storage and handling requirements, in order to provide accurate product information to customers.
  • Stay updated on current trends and innovations in the produce industry, including new varieties and food safety regulations.
• Visual Merchandising : Assist in maintaining an attractive and organized display of products to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and English language
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the produce industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with customers.
• Excellent customer service orientation, with a genuine passion for exceeding expectations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of inventory management software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
